INSTRUCTIONS: (see bottom-right corner of Editor Box - - ABOVE, to resize window)

1. Start using this WYSIWYG HTML Editor, by typing or pasting your text, in the EDITOR BOX, ABOVE.

To Clear Text: Click on New Document button, located in top ToolBar (top-left), or
Highlight all text, and delete/overwrite existing text.

2. When Edits Are Complete: (fonts, colors, font size, etc.), take the following steps:

Click on the HTML button, located in top ToolBar (2nd row, top-right).
Right-click to "Select All".
"CTRL-C" to copy the HTML Code.
Then paste into your Ning Text Box with "CTRL V".

SAVING CODE: You will NOT be able to SAVE your code. This tool is for writing HTML CODE, to use (paste) in a Ning Box. If you want a backup in addition to your Ning Text Box, etc., please copy/paste to a text file. Notepad is a program that allows you to create text or HTML files. It comes with the Operating System on PCs and MACs. If you are on a PC, go to START button, type in the word notepad, and press ENTER. Paste your HTML CODE, and SAVE your file. If you work on a MAC, the notepad icon should be in your ToolBar.

IMAGES: If you insert images, you need to know the web address path (URL). This Tool is for assisting you in creating better HTML code. It does not accept uploaded files.

KEEP IT SIMPLE: Some features will create HTML Code, that may not work well across all Browsers. For best results, keep it simple. This is always true when writing HTML code.

Tutorial - Adding Images and Links, within a Table. (Table-1)

Tutorial Steps - How (Table-1) was Created

1. Created a new Table using the Table Button (3rd row, top-left). Example table, selected 2 columns and 2 rows.

2. Insert Images: While using FireFox Browser, went to Gold Member page (new window), and right-clicked on 1st image, selected "Copy Image Location".

3. Came back to the Editor.

4. Clicked in table cell, where image will be inserted.

5. Clicked on Insert Image Button (2nd row, top-right, below Font Size)

6. Pasted my "Image Location" path to the "Image URL" box.

7. Added the other images, exact same steps.

8. Added a link to each image, by: selecting image, clicking on Insert Link Button (2nd row, top-right, below Font Family)

9. Added my links

10. Centered my table. Selected Table. Right-clicked, and selected "Alignment/Centered".

11. Click on HTML Button (2nd row, top-right) to grab my Code.

11b. First, I wanted to remove the border on the table. In the HTML code at top, I changed border=1 to border=0. I'm leaving border for this Tutorial.

12. Then, to copy/paste code: Right-Click and Select All, Copy Code with CTRL-C (or Right-Click and Copy), Paste into my Ning Box with CTRL-V.
