• The only Networks that are eligible for inclusion/membership in the Directory, are Ning Networks and their Creators or Administrators. All other listings will be removed. If you have other networks listed on your Profile Pages, that are not Ning Networks, this is allowed. As long as your primary page Network is a Ning Network. You must provide a legitimate Ning Network link/URL on your page, in the appropriate Profile Question field.
• YOUR MEMBER NAME AND PROFILE PHOTO MUST REFLECT YOUR NING NETWORKS, OR YOUR ACCOUNT COULD BE FROZEN AND/OR REMOVED. Please change your member name to your Ning Network Name, and your Member Profile Photo to an image or logo that reflects your Ning Network.

ADULT-THEMED and/or 18+ Ning Splash Screen, HATE, OR NETWORKS WITH ILLEGAL CONTENT, ARE NOT ALLOWED FOR INCLUSION IN THIS DIRECTORY.

FAIR WARNING: Negative posts on this site, will result in removal from this Directory. This site is for Professional Ning Network Creators/Owners. We take our responsibilities serious, in keeping this site presentable and professional for you (our Members) and your Site Visitors (your Customers).

EXTRA SPECIAL PLACES TO ADD YOUR NETWORKS, AND TO ADVERTISE:

• THE LIST: Don't forget to add your Ning Networks to THE LIST. THE LIST is the Actual Categorized Directory. Your Member Profile Pages serve as Previews to your Ning Networks. THE LIST enables you to add more than one Ning Network, using one Ning Directory member account. The Categories for THE LIST are accessible from the home page. You definitely want your Networks listed here. They will not be included, unless you add them. This is simply a secondary Forum with additional fields - - but a very powerful way to Categorize our Ning Networks. Please, limit 2 Listings per Ning Network. In other words, if you want to add 1 Ning Network to 2 Categories, feel free. But, please, no more than 2, to prevent diluting THE LIST. Be sure to close Discussion/Listing, if you don't want commenting. See instructions below.
• CATEGORY GROUPS: Don't forget to add your Ning Networks to the appropriate Category Groups. There are 20 Special Groups featured on the home page. These Groups were created to represent all of your Categories. They have been combined and narrowed down to 20. This is simply another way for your Networks to be found, and your links to be included in major Search Engine indexing. Same guidelines apply as THE LIST. Please do not join more than 2 Groups, per member account.
• CLASSIFIEDS: Add your Networks, products, services to Classifieds. This is another avenue where you can advertise your Networks. Keep it rated PG. No limitations, within reason.
  

ADVERTISING GUIDELINES: Although you are encouraged to "advertise, advertise, advertise", please keep your advertising on the following: Classifieds, Forums, THE LIST, Your Category Groups, Your Page, Your Blog, Music, Photos, and Videos. PLEASE DO NOT spam your fellow Network Creator's pages.

These Guidelines also include all the "mass invitations" so many members are sending out. PLEASE DO NOT do this to your fellow Network Creators. We send out invitations to this Network. But, keep in mind. This Network is for all Network Creators (non-white label). Sending out invitations to Acme Parts Company, is not. Choose your audience when possible. It always pays off. We are receiving complaints about both: Comments and Mass Invitations. And, we have lost several members due to this.
This network will enable you to acquire so many new contacts, friends and new members. Let's not take advantage of fellow Network Creators, and LOSE them. This will HURT US ALL. There are more places on this site to advertise, than any other Ning Network (to our knowledge). Let's keep our Advertising off other member pages, unless they have shown interest in your Community, you are friends, or you share like-minded Network themes and want to share with each other. Thank you for understanding. And we continue to say, "Advertise your Network to the MAX!" Just stay within these reasonable guidelines.
 

HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH SITE VISITORS AND EACH OTHER

Quick Guide:

• Visitors can view everything except: Groups created just for Network Creators, Chat Boxes on Profile Pages, Menu Tabs "Just For Us" and "Our Groups". Until we place a password on our internal Groups, if Visitors try hard enough, they can access those Groups too.
• When creating Your Pages, Blogs, Forums, Classifieds, RSS, adding Social Communities to THE LIST, Discussions/Comments in all Category Groups, leaving comments, uploading videos, photos and music - - keep your public in mind. They can view all of these items.
   

(1) How Network Creators Communicate and Promote our Networks to Site Visitors

• Your Pages (Advertise, advertise, advertise!)
• THE LIST - Add multiple Ning Networks to THE LIST by Category, for Site Visitors to view. LIMIT 2 LISTINGS PER NING NETWORK.
• Your Blogs are for Site Visitors to view.
• Your Forums are for Site Visitors to view.
• Special Category Groups are featured on the home page. They are visible to Visitors.
• Our Groups are for discussing topics between Network Creators.
• Your Photos and Videos are for Site Visitors to view.
• Your RSS is for Site Visitors to view.
• Your Classified Entries are for Site Visitors to view.

(2) How Network Creators Communicate With Each Other:

• Private Emails
• Comments (if you don't mind public seeing what you write, and please do not SPAM on member profile comments.)
• 1 Special Private Group, and all other Groups under Menu Item labeled: Our Groups
• Coffee Shop
• News Stand
• Chat Box on Profile Pages
• Ning Chat Box under "Just For Us", called "Ning ChatBox"

THE LIST (Categorized, Searchable List): - Each member (you) has the the ability to add multiple Ning Networks per member account. You can add them under the same selection of Categories, that are in your Profile Questions. However, keep in mind: the logo for your member account will be displayed for each Ning Network Listing you add (just like when adding Discussions). PLEASE LIMIT 2 LISTINGS PER NING NETWORK.

How will Site Visitors utilize the THE LIST?

• Site Visitors will be able to view your Ning Network Listings by Category and by Listings.
• Site Visitors will be able to search within the Ning Network Listings (like Forum Discussions)

Also, only WE can see the "Just For Us" and "Our Groups" Menu Tabs from the main menu.

This Network can continue to be a phenomenal Network, and unparalleled tool, for us all. Let's keep it that way. :-)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADDING NING NETWORKS TO "THE LIST".

THE LIST! It's here. Add as many Ning Networks as you want. PLEASE LIMIT 2 LISTINGS PER NING NETWORK. It's very similar to adding a Discussion. The link is in the main menu, welcome box, and the home page. That list is what we can circulate all over the net!

STEPS: Most Network Creators will know how to add a Discussion. But, just in case you're a brand new Network Creator, here are the steps.

The same Guidelines apply for THE LIST. Your entire account will be removed from the Directory if you list sites that are not allowed (see top of page), according to these Guidelines.

• 1. Go to THE LIST
• 2. Add your Ning Network Name next to "Listing Title"
• 3. Add a short description for your Network
• 4. You can add a badge if you like.
• 5. Select your Category (same as in your Profile Questions)
• 6. Address if applicable, and Country
• 7. Website Address of your Ning Network, email and phone if applicable
• 8. Good for kids?
• 9. Tags
  
  You can also attach files to your listings.
  PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE THE DISCUSSION / LISTING - FOR NO COMMENTS ALLOWED.
  
  Also, NOW you can go back to adding regular Forums. You can move them into your Categories, as well.
